Balagio Ristorante, in Homewood opened in November 1997. It was always a dream of owner, Mike Galderio to have a restaurant in the South Suburbs where people could enjoy the finest Home Style Italian food, impeccable service and an atmosphere that would make people feel like they were dinning at a restaurant in downtown Chicago, all at an affordable price.
Mike Galderio, with Italian family recipes and creative Chefs, took his dream and opened Balagio Ristorante. With great food, wonderful service and beautiful décor, Balagio in Homewood is a favorite place to enjoy Italian American cuisine at it’s finest.
